Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ubereem closes the distance and clinches up with Rutten, looking for a takedown. Ubereem pushes Rutten against the cage but Rutten circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rutten fails to land with a series of punches.
Rutten lands a jab to Ubereem's midsection.
Rutten drops Ubereem with a nice combination! Rutten dives into Ubereem's guard, looking to finish!
Ubereem is rocked!
It looks like Monsterstair Ubereem has been cut.
Ubereem looks gassed!

Ubereem keeping full guard, as Rutten tries to pass.
Ubereem is still in real trouble! Can Rutten finish him?
Ubereem keeping moving, preventing Rutten from controlling successfully.
Ubereem working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rutten.
Rutten tries to stand but Ubereem is controlling from the bottom.
Ubereem seems to have recovered his senses.
Rutten keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ubereem's head.
Rutten trying to control but Ubereem is working from the bottom.
Ubereem not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rutten showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mooney Rutten wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Rutten cracks a nice hook into Ubereem's ribs.

Ubereem shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rutten defends it nicely.
Ubereem keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mooney Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rutten lands a big shot that drops Ubereem! Can he finish him?
Rutten wants to control from the top but Ubereem keeps moving.
Ubereem working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rutten.
Rutten stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ubereem swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rutten chips away with some ground and pound.
Rutten drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ubereem dives on top into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rutten is looking to stand up but Ubereem isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ubereem tries to free his leg and advance position but Rutten is retaining full guard.
Rutten knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ubereem on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ubereem is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Rutten lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ubereem circles away quickly and effectively.
Ubereem walks into a left hand.
Rutten cracks Ubereem with a hook to the temple - Ubereem is on wobbly legs here! Rutten swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Ubereem falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Rutten wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mooney Rutten!
