The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skorpio tries to clinch but Kahric moves away
and Kahric counters with a nice leg kick.
Kahric thows a body kick. Skorpio tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Samir Kahric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skorpio moves out of range of the body kick from Kahric.
Kahric shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skorpio as he jumps to the side.
Nice defenses there by Skorpio.
Skorpio tries to close the distance and clinch but Kahric swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Skorpio looks to throw the jab but Kahric is out of range.
Skorpio slaps away a takedown attempt from Kahric, before circling back to the center of the mat.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Skorpio here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
