Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Batraz Osetin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel LaRusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaRusso has chosen Joe Eposito - You're the best as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Batraz Osetin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daniel LaRusso!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRusso buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Osetin swings away with a body shot that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
LaRusso feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Osetin sprawling to the canvas! Osetin rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can LaRusso finish him?!
Osetin is rocked!
It looks like Batraz Osetin has been cut.
Osetin is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A head kick by LaRusso - that's a beauty! Osetin is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even LaRusso can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Daniel LaRusso!
