Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Spider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ted Chips! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chips swats away the attempt to clinch by Spider. Spider tries to clinch up but Chips circles away and keeps his distance. Dog Spider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spider moves in looking to clinch but Chips pushes him off. Chips shoots for a double leg takedown but Spider sprawls well. He's pushed Chips's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Spider wants to clinch. Chips throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Spider lands with an overhand left. Spider leaves Chips with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Spider clinches. Chips takes a knee to the side of the body. Spider scores a nice knee to the body.

Spider avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dog Spider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Chips. Spider doesn't manage to clinch there - Chips circles away.

Spider unloads a knee to the mid-section. Chips lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Spider scores a nice knee to the body.
