Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aran Schmeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henri Hasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henri Hasu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aran Schmeck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henri Hasu! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasu thows a body shot but no joy. Schmeck moves away from the strike by Hasu. Hasu connects with the punch. Schmeck uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hasu. Hasu lands a right hook to the body.
Hasu throws a hook but Schmeck blocks it. Hasu throws a right and a left that Schmeck avoids nicely. Hasu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Schmeck shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hasu defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hasu stuffs the takedown. Hasu throws a series of punches but Schmeck avoids them all with ease. Hasu fails to land with a series of punches.
Schmeck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hasu as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aran Schmeck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Schmeck changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hasu tries to avoid it but Schmeck manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hasu to the ground. Hasu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schmeck moves out of range of the strikes. Hasu misses with a hook. Schmeck ducked under it nicely. Schmeck drives through with a takedown into Hasu's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hasu controlling the position. Hasu wants to control but Schmeck passes easily into half guard.
Schmeck is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hasu wants to control but Schmeck is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasu is refusing to be controlled, as Schmeck sits in half guard. Hasu wants to control but Schmeck is keeping busy and won't allow it. Schmeck is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Schmeck is looking to advance position but Hasu won't allow it. Schmeck moves into full mount! Hasu won't be happy about that!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hasu wants to hold on but Schmeck pushes him away. Schmeck is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hasu has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Schmeck sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hasu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schmeck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Schmeck tries to control but Hasu wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Henri Hasu will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hasu lands the left hand. Hasu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Schmeck tries for a takedown but Hasu circles away easily enabling Hasu to counter with a crisp jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hasu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Nice sprawl there from Hasu as Schmeck shoots in. Hasu misses with an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schmeck fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aran Schmeck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hasu drops Schmeck with a beautiful combination! Schmeck stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hasu is looking for the KO!
Schmeck is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schmeck is aggressively charging in as Hasu backs up avoiding any damage. Hasu tosses out a jab and Schmeck runs right into it face first! Schmeck is out cold! Hasu dropped down on all fours and is barking in Schmeck's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Henri Hasu!
