Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Groo Roman Groo Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oleg Holst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holst comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Highway to Hell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groo Roman moves into the clinch successfully.
Holst lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Groo Roman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Holst tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Groo Roman avoids it.
Groo Roman tries for a takedown but Holst manages to get underhooks.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Groo Roman looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holst is one step ahead there.

Holst decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Groo Roman, up you get!
Groo Roman moves into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Groo Roman jumps guard.
Holst wants to stand but Groo Roman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Holst slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Groo Roman.
Holst stands up and beckons Groo Roman to join him on the feet.
Groo Roman clinches up with Holst and pushes him back against the cage.
Holst is trying to break free.
Groo Roman looking for a takedown.
Holst pushes off an throws an elbow but Groo Roman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Holst's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Groo Roman avoiding damage as Holst throws knees to the body.
Holst has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Groo Roman goes for a takedown attempt but Holst pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Groo Roman Groo Roman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holst feints a jab promting Groo Roman to slip. Holst then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Groo Roman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A nice combination there by Holst.
Holst looks gassed!
Groo Roman throws out a leg kick but Holst moves out of range and Groo Roman only half commits.
Holst fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Groo Roman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Holst scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Groo Roman clinches up against the cage.
Groo Roman is trying to trip Holst. He has hold of a leg but Holst is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Groo Roman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Holst wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Groo Roman manages to pass to side control.
Groo Roman is looking to take a break and control but Holst is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Groo Roman wants to control but Holst is keeping him busy.
Holst is working to avoid the ground and pound but Groo Roman connects with a decent elbow.
Holst tries to escape but Groo Roman is in control.

Groo Roman connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Holst some visible discomfort.
Groo Roman is trying to get an arm triangle but Holst is defending well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Holst is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Groo Roman has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Groo Roman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Groo Roman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Groo Roman looks up at the clock and then as Holst takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Groo Roman smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Holst is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Groo Roman has hold of Holst's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Holst tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Groo Roman cranks the arm and Holst screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Holst, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Groo Roman Groo Roman!
