Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Rose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taylor Gable! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gable keeps the fight on the outside. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rose.
Rose lands a slapping body shot.
Rose will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rose throws a right and a left that both miss. Rose could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gable walks into a straight right hand from Rose. Decent striking displayed by Rose there. Alexander Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Rose. Gable avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rose fails with the takedown. Rose darts in and clinches Gable up against the cage. Gable has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rose is trying to keep an underhook but Gable manages to get the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gable trying to control the pace. Rose is pressing down on Gable's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rose throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Rose looking for a sweep. Not yet Rose, not yet. Gable trying to control the position from guard on top but Rose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gable is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice takedown defense from Gable. No joy for Rose on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rose is breathing heavily. Gable shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rose tries to clinch up but Gable circles away and keeps his distance. Rose has his takedown stuffed and Gable counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rose won't be happy with that. Gable moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Gable tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Rose's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rose tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gable wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gable throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Rose wants to get back to his feet but Gable drags him back down. Rose manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Rose gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rose is on top in guard.
Rose trying to control but Gable is working from the bottom. Gable is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rose pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gable is keeping the position for now. Gable can't keep his opponent in guard - Rose advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rose is pressing down on Gable's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gable is holding on for now. Rose wants to control but Gable is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rose is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Gable has managed to free his arm - good work. Gable taking some punishment here, with Rose in his half guard. Rose stalling away here and it's allowed Gable to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Rose stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gable swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gable is trying to control the position from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. A jab from Rose does it's job there. Rose fakes the leg kick and cracks Gable in the body. Rose tries to clinch but fails miserably and Gable counters with a single leg into guard. Rose didn't expect that. Rose is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gable pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rose is keeping the position for now. Rose looking for a sweep. Not yet Rose, not yet. Rose throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Rose working for a triangle but Gable defends it easily.
Rose is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gable rolls with it to try and escape but Rose cranks on the arm and Gable is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
