The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemeia moves into the clinch.
Nemeia pushes Jones back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Nemeia blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jones tries a body shot but Nemeia blocks it.
Jones misses with a punch on the inside.
Jones misses with the head strike.
A right hand to the body from Jones.
Nemeia blocks a body shot from Jones.
Jones is trying to push Nemeia away but Nemeia has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Nemeia blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nemeia makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jones doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nemeia has him pressed against the cage.

Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nemeia manages to avoid it.

Nemeia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nemeia looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nemeia moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Nemeia tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.

Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Nemeia's shoulder, as Nemeia tries to avoid the shot.
Nice jab there from Nemeia.
Nemeia walks into a straight right hand from Jones.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nemeia lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Nemeia looks gassed!
A decent looking cross lands there for Jones.
Jones looks to land a right hand but Nemeia moved out of range.

Sloppy strikes from Nemeia. Those never looked like landing.
Nemeia has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Nemeia's head.
It looks like Ricardo Nemeia has been cut.

Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nemeia.

Jones misses with a hook.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nemeia on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A lazy left from Jones finds it's target.
Jones scores with a jab.
Nemeia gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nemeia is rocked!
Nemeia falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jones counters with a stiff right hand.
Nemeia is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nemeia gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Jones gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Nemeia is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Jones!
