Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ely Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Scott might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to party up. Frank Abbot will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ely Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Abbot! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott gets a clinch. Scott manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Scott has a closed guard, preventing Abbot from standing up. Scott is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Abbot would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Abbot avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Abbot trying to stand up but can't free himself from Scott's guard. Scott escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Abbot gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Abbot stands and steps away. Scott gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Scott throws a series of punches but Abbot avoids them all with ease. Abbot swings for the body but Scott moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot lands a slapping body shot.
Sloppy strikes from Abbot. Those never looked like landing. Abbot throws a lazy right hand but Scott sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Scott swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Abbot counter with a right hand. Abbot takes a swing at Scott's ribcage but misses. Abbot tries to bum rush Scott with a series of wild strikes but Scott uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Abbot throws out a loose jab but Scott uses good head movement to avoid it. Abbot misses with the combination.

Scott moves out of range as Abbot strikes. Scott throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abbot ducks under a wild hook from Scott. Scott slips under a jab from Abbot. Scott throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Abbot sees it coming and avoids it easily. Abbot scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Scott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Abbot throws a right and a left that both miss. Abbot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scott moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Scott throws a right hand that Abbot ducks under and follows up with a left that Abbot also avoids with ease. Scott tries to clinch but Abbot moves out of range. Abbot fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A head kick misses from Abbot. Scott looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Scott moves in looking to clinch but Abbot pushes him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abbot checks a leg kick. Scott throws a sloppy head kick and Abbot moves out of range easily. Abbot clobbers Scott with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Frank Abbot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Scott pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Abbot is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Scott looks to land a body kick but Abbot moved away. Abbot throws a right and a left that Scott avoids nicely. Abbot jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Scott has Abbot up against the cage in a clinch.

Scott decides to pull guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is working an open guard so Abbot takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. A jab from Abbot finds it's way through Scott's defenses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Abbot lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Abbot throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Abbot lands a jab-cross combination. Good work by Abbot as he checks the leg kick. Frank Abbot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Abbot clobbers Scott with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Good standup being displayed there by Abbot as he connects with a hook. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Abbot stuns Scott with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Scott misses with a low kick. Abbot thuds a left hand into Scott's body. Abbot throws a one two combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Abbot dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Abbot lands with a nice combination. Scott backs away looking to recover. Abbot scores with a hook to the body. Scott takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Abbot misses with a wild combination.
Scott shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Abbot misses with a body shot.
Ely Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Scott throws the kick towards the body but Abbot avoids it. Scott shoots in for a takedown but Abbot shows good takedown defense. Scott throws a body punch but Abbot moves out of range. Abbot throws an off balance right hand
and Scott counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Scott. Scott misses with a punch on the inside.
Scott tries to land knees in the clinch but Abbot avoids the damage to the body. Scott stalls.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott can't get the takedown.
Abbot wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Abbot on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ely Scott. That's going to take a lot out of him. Abbot is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Abbot is trying to break the clinch but Scott is controlling him. Scott drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Abbot gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Scott gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Abbot regains guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Abbot's guard. Abbot is looking to escape. Scott is trying to work for a kimura but Abbot is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott stops Abbot from getting back to his feet.
Abbot pushes Scott off and gets back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Abbot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Scott doesn't seem bothered though. Scott takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Scott clinches up against the cage. Scott will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Abbot up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott prevents Abbot from breaking the clinch. Scott fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Scott fails with the takedown. Abbot fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Abbot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Scott is rocked! Abbot is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Abbot shuts the power down on Scott. Lights out, game over! Abbot is your winner.
