Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamapi Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan comes to the cage accompanied by Ikenai Tayou. D has chosen do it as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yamapi Chan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Roy D! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! D misses with the combination.
Chan shoots in and gets a takedown into D's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Chan with a flurry of punches that miss. Chan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Chan wants to control from the top but D keeps moving. D bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chan's guard. D missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Chan working for a triangle but D defends it easily.
D trying to control but Chan is working from the bottom. Chan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. D wants to pass the guard but Chan is keeping the position. Chan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. D is looking to work some ground and pound but Chan has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Chan keeping moving, preventing D from controlling successfully. D decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Chan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. D manages to get to full guard.
D has his foot on Chan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chan works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan advances position into side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Chan throwing strikes but missing, from side control. D tries to bench press Chan off him but Chan keeps the position. D is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Chan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. D knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. D gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. D tries to roll over but Chan keeps him under control. Chan seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chan is looking for a kimura but D is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chan to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. D defending well though. Chan wants to work for an arm triangle but D is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
D keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Chan is looking for a kimura but D is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chan to get the leverage. D wants to improve his position but Chan is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Chan wants to control from the top but D keeps moving. D is looking for a triangle but Chan pushes his legs off easily.
D looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chan trying to control but D is working from the bottom. D looking for a sweep. Not yet D, not yet. Chan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. D is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yamapi Chan dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Chan shoots in but D avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yamapi Chan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from D. No joy for Chan on that attempt. D misses with a looping right. Chan looks for a takedown but D sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yamapi Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chan tries a head kick but it misses.
Chan takes a swing at D's ribcage but misses. Chan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chan ducks right into an uppercut from D. D lands a slapping body shot.
Chan drops his hands momentarily and D takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Chan tries to clinch up but D circles away and keeps his distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. D lands a lovely overhand right. Chan tries a head kick but it misses.
D lands with a shot to the body. D gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chan to score an easy takedown into full guard. D looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
D bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chan's guard. D passes into half guard. Chan trying to control from the bottom.
Chan has a hand on D's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. D takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Chan regains half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! D is nestled in close to Chan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

D working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. D missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Chan wants to get back to his feet. Chan looking for submissions off his back. D lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. D drops an elbow to the side of Chan's head. Chan trying to control but D postures up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! D works his way into side control. D in side control lands a decent elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. D landing a few strikes. D working the body and head with strikes. D working the ground and pound. D lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Chan down.
Chan gets back to half guard. Chan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but D pulls his head out easily. Chan tries to roll over but D keeps him under control. D winds up and cracks Chan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Chan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Chan is trying to get back to full guard. Chan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. D thows a huge punch but Chan dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. D scoring with strikes to the body and head. D looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Chan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but D pulls his head out easily. Chan actively working from the bottom here. Chan taking some punishment here, with D in his half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! D uses his free foot to push down on Chan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chan. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chan is wriggling around trying to escape.
D lands a big elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy D showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Chan shoots in and drives through. D sprawls well. Chan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

D closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. D lands strikes from half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. D lands strikes from half guard. D trying to mount his opponent but Chan defends it.

D is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. D is looking to advance position but Chan won't allow it. D takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. D seems to be working for a kimura but Chan defends the submission attempt. The fighters are battling for position here. Chan manages to regain full guard. Nice work. D pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chan is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. D doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. D manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Roy D has got the better of the ground game so far. Chan looking for a guillotine here but D defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. D is looking to work some ground and pound but Chan has wrist control. Chan avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. D scores with a decent looking elbow strike. D pushes down on Chan's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chan works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. D is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Chan. D scoring with punches and elbows. D cracks Chan with a big right hand but Chan just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Chan is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Chan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. D landing a few strikes. Chan is looking for a sweep. Chan takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
D works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! D landing a few strikes. Chan is trying to control D's posture but D avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan is trying to get back to half guard. Chan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked D off and has taken his back! D rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
D slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. D keeping moving, preventing Chan from controlling successfully. D is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! There's a bit of a scramble here and now D is on top in guard.
D got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, D has managed to get both his arms back between Chan's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! Roy D comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well D has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
