Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Kazama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kuririn Kame! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Kazama looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kazama closes the distance but Kame moves to the side and Kame counters with a single leg into guard. Kazama didn't expect that. Kame stands and steps away. Kazama gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kazama is looking to clinch. Kazama tries to clinch up and Kame counters with a shoot takedown. Kazama fights it but they end up in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kame stands up and waves to Kazama to follow him. Kame tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kazama swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazama tries to clinch up and Kame counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kame stands up from Kazama's guard - Kame perhaps looking for a knockout. Kazama fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kame avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kame gets a takedown into half guard. Kame stands up out of the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazama is looking to clinch but Kame is avoiding it.

Kazama is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Kazama. No joy for Kame on that attempt. Kazama tries to clinch but Kame moves away and Kame counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kame stands and steps away. Kazama gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kame tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kazama swivels and escapes. Jin Kazama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kuririn Kame. Kazama throws a head kick but Kame moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kame gets to his feet - Kazama follows without any prompting. Kame closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kazama to the mat! Kazama manages to get full guard. Kame decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Kame tries for a takedown but Kazama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kuririn Kame dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kazama leaves Kame with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kame keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kazama. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kame changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kazama tries to avoid it but Kame manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kazama to the ground. Kazama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kame fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jin Kazama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kuririn Kame. Kazama tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kame swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jin Kazama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kame defending well as Kazama loads up on a big left hand. Kame gets the takedown into side control. Kame decides to stand back up. Jin Kazama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kame fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kame shoots in but Kazama avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kazama is looking to clinch but Kame is avoiding it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kame shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Kame is standing up, even though he is in mount. Kame shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kazama's guard. Kame gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kame scores a takedown into full mount! Kuririn Kame has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kame is standing up, even though he is in mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kame closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kazama to the mat! Kazama manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kame decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kazama, up you get! Kame shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kazama defends it nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kame shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kazama napping and manages to drive through into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kuririn Kame showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kame shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kazama pinned against the cage. Kazama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kame dives in and grabs Kazama's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kazama pushes down on Kame's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kame shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kame was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Kame is standing up, even though he is in mount. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kame is defended easily by Kazama. Nice sprawl there from Kame as Kazama shoots in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazama keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kazama throws a lazy right hand but Kame sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kazama gets caught napping as Kame dives in and scores a takedown. Kazama manages to retain guard. Kame gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jin Kazama is winning the standup battle so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kame misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kame closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kame lands in his opponent's guard. Kame gets to his feet - Kazama follows without any prompting. Jin Kazama has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kame is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kazama sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kame throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kazama's waist but Kazama gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kame off to one side.
And that's the end of the fight! Kuririn Kame comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kame winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
