Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Samael - Baphomets Throne. Russell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dysfunctional-Tech N9ne kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Kent Russell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kent Russell!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlton closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Russell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carlton. Russell does a little dance to reset his feet.
Russell throws a shot from downtown. Carlton moves away and avoids it.
Russell misses with a looping right.
Carlton slips under a jab from Russell.
Carlton connects with a right hand. Russell shakes it off.
Carlton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Russell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carlton scrambles back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Russell has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carlton tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Russell's elbow.
Russell has had enough of the clinch but Carlton keeps him there for the moment.

Russell pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Carlton drops Russell with a naaaaasty hook - Russell is in real trouble here! Carlton dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Carlton!
Kyle Carlton looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Thats what happens when you call me out sucker!'.
