Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emile Gaston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen BRANDED by Faces Of Mars as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn shoots in but Gaston avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gaston throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gaston fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Quinn on the side of the head.
Quinn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gaston pinned against the cage. Gaston gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Quinn shoots for a takedown but Gaston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Quinn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gaston's half guard.
Quinn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gaston does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Quinn takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Quinn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gaston, pushing him back against the cage.
Gaston tries to stall but Quinn uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Quinn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gaston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Quinn sprawls well. Quinn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gaston gets slowly back to his feet.
Gaston throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Quinn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gaston swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Quinn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gaston defends it nicely.
Gaston's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gaston duly obliges.
Quinn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gaston.
Gaston cracks Quinn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Dan Quinn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Quinn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gaston doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gaston manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dan Quinn really dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A looping hook to the body misses from Gaston. Quinn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quinn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Quinn shoots in looking for a takedown. Gaston tries to sprawl out of it but Quinn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gaston manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Quinn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Quinn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gaston avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Gaston drops down looking for an ankle pick but Quinn pulls his leg out and moves away.
Quinn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gaston as he jumps to the side.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.
