With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Rain!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Britt misses with a straight left.
Rain scores with a body shot.
Rain cracks Britt with a right hand to the side of the head.
Britt staying out of range there.
Britt slips under a jab from Rain.
Britt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Rain shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Johnny Rain has been cut.
Johnny Rain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rain misses with an uppercut

and Britt counters with a crisp one two that drops Rain! Britt thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rain to his feet! Rain is in big trouble!
Rain throws an overhand right that lands on Britt's shoulder, as Britt tries to avoid the shot.
Britt staying out of range there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rain lands a glancing blow to the side of Britt's head.
Rain waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Britt.

Britt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rain looks to land a combination but Britt avoids it well.
Britt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Britt throws a nice looking combination but Rain bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Britt misses with an uppercut
and Rain counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Britt lands an overhand right.
Britt connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Rain moves out of range as Britt strikes.
Britt swinging wildly here.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rain avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - Rain throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rain connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Britt's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from Britt does no damage.
Britt ducks under a wild hook from Rain.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rain misses with a left hand
and Britt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Britt throws a lazy right hand but Rain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eric Britt will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

That has opened up Johnny Rain's cut even more.
Eric Britt is winning the standup battle so far.
Rain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rain misses with a straight left.
Rain misses with a double jab
and Britt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rain throws a jab when Britt was well out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Rain misses the target.

Rain lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Rain throws a jab but it's blocked by Britt.
Britt throws an off balance right hand
and Rain connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice straight punches there by Rain. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rain.


Britt is rocked!
Britt throws a series of punches but Rain moves out of range.
Rain is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Rain shuts the power down on Britt. Lights out, game over! Rain is your winner.
