The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squires moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Squires holds on and takes a little breather.
Squires pushes Silva off and scrambles back to his feet.

Squires swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Squires leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Squires will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Squires connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Silva momentarily.

Squires throws out a loose jab but Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.

Silva shoots in for a takedown but Squires shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Silva takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Silva quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Squires has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Silva celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
