Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rayn McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vhan Bernados (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rayn McCarthy looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernados misses with a takedown attempt
and McCarthy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bernados's guard.
McCarthy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Bernados wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
McCarthy trying to control the position from guard on top but Bernados is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McCarthy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bernados is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McCarthy, into his guard.
Bernados is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bernados drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bernados jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bernados slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bernados is working to tighten is grip on McCarthy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McCarthy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bernados is really squeezing tight and eventually McCarthy passes out! Bernados breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
