PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jebediah Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damarcus Musasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the cage accompanied by Eighties. Musasi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Collective Soul - Where the River Flows. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damarcus Musasi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Reed's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Musasi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reed tries to avoid it but Musasi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reed to the ground. Reed escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Musasi or perhaps it was just good defense by Reed which made him look bad.

Reed pivots, looking for a leg kick but Musasi is out of range and Reed settles back down.
Musasi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Reed.

Reed closes this distance looking for a takedown but Musasi circles away.
Musasi throws a shot to the body.
Musasi moves out of range as Reed strikes.
Some wild striking there from Reed.
Reed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Musasi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Musasi shoots in looking for a takedown. Reed tries to sprawl out of it but Musasi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Damarcus Musasi seems to be getting the better of the standup.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Damarcus Musasi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Musasi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
