Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to clinch but Phuey moves away
and Phuey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rua closes the distance but Phuey moves to the side
and Phuey counters with a leg kick.
Rua closes the distance looking to clinch
and Phuey counters with a solid body kick.
Phuey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rua.
A low kick from Rua is predictable there
and Phuey counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rua walks into a left hand.
Rua throws a head kick that misses
and Phuey counters with an outside leg kick.
Rua throws a leg kick
and Phuey counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Rua moves to clinch but Phuey breaks away
enabling Phuey to counter with a crisp jab.
Rua misses with the body kick
and Phuey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rua moves to clinch but Phuey breaks away
and Phuey counters with a takedown into side control.
Phuey is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rua will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Phuey scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rua to see if he's OK.
Rua wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Phuey is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rua's shoulder. That is not cool.
Phuey has an Americana. Rua didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Phuey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Phuey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
