Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Delon Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chuck Liddell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Delon Martin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liddell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Martin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Liddell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Liddell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Liddell decides to stand up, so the ref orders Martin to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Liddell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Martin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Liddell closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Martin to the mat! Martin manages to get full guard.

Liddell is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Martin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Martin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Liddell.

Martin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Well Liddell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
