Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gesias Calvancante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Calvancante comes to the cage accompanied by Fight Music. Derek Santos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Santos should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Santos misses with a two punch combination.
Calvancante looking to score a takedown here. Santos is defending well but Calvancante drives through and ends up in Santos's guard.
Calvancante drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Calvancante jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Calvancante slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Calvancante is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Calvancante has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Santos is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Calvancante yanks on the arm and Santos is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Calvancante.
