Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nelfer Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Demarcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anthony Demarcus will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demarcus thows a leg kick but Rogers checks it
and Rogers counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rogers.
Rogers trying to control the position from guard on top but Demarcus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rogers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rogers trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Demarcus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rogers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rogers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Demarcus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Demarcus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Demarcus avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rogers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Demarcus works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Demarcus trying to mount his opponent but Rogers defends it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Demarcus wants to control but Rogers is keeping him busy.

Demarcus slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Demarcus is trying to stick to Rogers's back but Rogers is turning into Demarcus. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Demarcus's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rogers.

Rogers drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Demarcus manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rogers has Demarcus in his guard.
Demarcus wants to pass the guard but Rogers is keeping the position.
Rogers working for a triangle but Demarcus defends it easily.
Rogers is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nelfer Rogers will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rogers shoots and misses
and Demarcus counters with a single leg into guard. Rogers didn't expect that.
Rogers has his foot on Demarcus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Demarcus works his way back into a safe position though.

Demarcus rolls with it to try and escape but Rogers cranks on the arm and Demarcus is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
