Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dunlap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. A Bid Farewell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Dunlap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunlap closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lesnar to the mat! Lesnar manages to get full guard. Lesnar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lesnar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Lesnar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dunlap with a flurry of punches that miss. Dunlap trying to control the position from guard on top but Lesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lesnar wants to sweep but no luck. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dunlap throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lesnar's waist but Lesnar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dunlap off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar tries for a takedown but Dunlap sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dunlap rushes Lesnar and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A short right from Dunlap on the inside. Dunlap is trying to break free. Dunlap lands with a light punch inside. Lesnar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lesnar tries to clinch but Dunlap is having none of it. Lesnar with a poor takedown and Dunlap counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dunlap closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dunlap pushes Lesnar back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Lesnar misses with a knee strike.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunlap with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lesnar is looking to improve his position but Dunlap isn't that keen on the idea. Lesnar wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Dunlap not allowing Lesnar to control his hands. Dunlap has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dunlap looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lesnar is one step ahead there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunlap avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dunlap is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dunlap is thwarting Lesnar's attempts to control the position. Dunlap winds up and cracks Lesnar with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lesnar trying to hold on to Dunlap's head to control him but Dunlap postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar is looking to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dunlap working Lesnar over with strikes. Dunlap works his way into full mount! Dunlap can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lesnar is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lesnar throws a solid leg kick but Dunlap takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lesnar. Dunlap avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lesnar had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Lesnar gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dunlap lands with a right to the head. Dunlap pulls guard effortlessly. Dunlap is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lesnar wants to pass the guard but Dunlap is keeping the position. Lesnar stopping the sweep attempt from Dunlap. Dunlap is working hard here to advance position. Dunlap keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully. Dunlap is looking to stand up but Lesnar isn't so interested in that idea.

Lesnar stands up from guard. Let's bang! Lesnar throws a sloppy head kick and Dunlap moves out of range easily. Lesnar shoots in for a double leg but Dunlap sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lesnar moves into the clinch successfully.
Dunlap will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lesnar up against the cage. Lesnar successfully pulls guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lesnar holds on and takes a little breather. Michael Dunlap overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Lesnar drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dunlap has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lesnar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lesnar stopping the sweep attempt from Dunlap. Dunlap is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lesnar is controlling him. Dunlap wants to sweep but no luck.

Lesnar is sitting in close to Dunlap's body. Dunlap has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Lesnar is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Lesnar is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dunlap.
