Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Cubane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larry Miller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Cubane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Larry Miller!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cubane misses with a looping left.
Miller scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cubane doesn't seem bothered though.
Cubane misses the body punch
and Miller counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cubane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miller swivels and escapes.
Cubane takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Cubane shoots for a double leg takedown but Miller sprawls well. He's pushed Cubane's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Miller lands a right hook to the body.
Miller takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Larry Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A shot to the liver by Miller. Beautiful body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cubane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Miller sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Cubane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miller's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cubane under the eye.

Cubane rushes Miller and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Miller jumps guard.
Cubane trying to control the position from guard on top but Miller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cubane pushing down on Miller's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.

Cubane is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Miller defends it well.
Cubane thows a huge punch but Miller dodges it nicely.

Cubane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miller is just riding it out for now. Cubane eventually gives up the hold.

Cubane is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Cubane is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Miller has managed to free his arm - good work.

Cubane seems to be looking for submissions.

Cubane maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Miller could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cubane has cracked it and Miller is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cubane!
