Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rose has chosen Headstrong - Trapt as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Rose does no damage.
Cote ducks right into an uppercut from Rose.
Cote is looking to clinch.
Nice body punch from Rose.
Cote misses the jab.
Good exchange - Cote coming out on top.
Rose has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rose there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rose slips a jab and a cross from Cote.
Rose avoids the body shot from Cote.
Cote throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cote moves to clinch but Rose breaks away
and Rose connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rose misses with a looping left.
Cote lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cote wants to clinch.
Cote throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cote thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cote swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A right-left combo lands from Rose.
Cote circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Rose to the canvas! Rose doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cote keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Cote!
