Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Alberto Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alberto Jr has chosen Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wanderlei Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alberto Jr lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Silva defending well as Alberto Jr loads up on a big left hand.
Alberto Jr loads up on a big right hand but Silva slips the punch.
Alberto Jr pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Silva back to the ropes. Alberto Jr follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Alberto Jr slips under a jab from Silva.
Alberto Jr blocks a jab.
Silva moves away from the strike by Alberto Jr.
Alberto Jr moves out of range of the strikes.
Alberto Jr with a hook.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Alberto Jr ducks down to avoid it.
Silva misses the jab.
A punch combination from Alberto Jr misses.
Silva misses with a looping left.
Silva tests Alberto Jr's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Wanderlei Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alberto Jr moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Silva throws the left hand but Alberto Jr avoids the punch easily.
Alberto Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Silva rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Alberto Jr counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Alberto Jr to acknowledge the strikes.
Silva is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Alberto Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva misses the jab.
Alberto Jr circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Silva to the canvas! Silva doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Alberto Jr keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Alberto Jr!
