Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marek Pudzianiszyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephan Evurts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Evurts's choice of entrance music: Welcome to the Jungle. Stephan Evurts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marek Pudzianiszyn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stephan Evurts! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evurts looks to land a combination but Pudzianiszyn avoids it well. Pudzianiszyn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pudzianiszyn fails with the takedown. Evurts avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Evurts looks to land a combination. Pudzianiszyn sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Marek Pudzianiszyn has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Evurts tries to clinch up. Pudzianiszyn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Evurts preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Evurts wants to sweep but no luck. Pudzianiszyn throws and elbow that misses. Evurts uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pudzianiszyn's guard. Nice move by Evurts! Evurts advances position into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pudzianiszyn is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Evurts has just dragged him back down to the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pudzianiszyn tries to improve position but can't. Evurts has control of an arm but Pudzianiszyn manages to advance to Evurts's back! Pudzianiszyn is looking for a choke. Evurts gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Evurts manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evurts seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pudzianiszyn is looking to stand up but Evurts isn't so interested in that idea. Evurts content to stall in guard here. Evurts postures up in Pudzianiszyn's guard and throws a big left but Pudzianiszyn blocks it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Stephan Evurts hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Oooh a lovely combination from Evurts sends Pudzianiszyn down but not out. Evurts dives into side control looking to finish. Pudzianiszyn is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pudzianiszyn trying to remain calm as Evurts controls from the top position. Evurts has an Americana. Pudzianiszyn didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Evurts is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Evurts hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
