Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wilson Tuckey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kerry Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuckey kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Land Down Under - Men at Work. Ward is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: People are strange by The Doors . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kerry Ward! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ward avoids a punch combination nicely.
Tuckey throws a nice looking combination but Ward bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tuckey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ward.
Jab, jab by Ward - just one landing. Ward showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tuckey.
Tuckey tries to score with a low kick but Ward moves his leg out of the way. Ward moves into the clinch. Tuckey misses with the head strike.
A head punch on the inside from Tuckey fails to land. Ward jumps guard and drags Tuckey to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Ward wants to get back to his feet but Tuckey is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ward has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tuckey off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. This has been an exciting period of action! Tuckey tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ward was well out of range. Poor timing from Tuckey. The fight moves into the clinch position. Tuckey wants to stall.

Ward jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tuckey walks away with a smile on his face. Ward gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ward misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tuckey.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ward throws a push kick but Tuckey slaps the foot to one side. Tuckey tries to bum rush Ward with a series of wild strikes but Ward uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tuckey connects with a solid leg kick. Ward ducks under a wild hook from Tuckey. Ward staying out of range there. Tuckey waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ward. Tuckey moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Tuckey connects with the punch. Good standup being displayed there by Tuckey as he connects with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ward drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tuckey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ward decides to stand back up. Kerry Ward seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tuckey lands with a hook. Ward tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

enabling Ward to counter with a crisp jab. Tuckey scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ward fails to land with a series of punches.
Ward lands with a slapping head kick. Tuckey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ward. Ward closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tuckey lands a right hand. Ward goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Wilson Tuckey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kerry Ward. Ward dives in and grabs Tuckey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tuckey pushes down on Ward's head and hops out. Tuckey lands with a good body shot. Tuckey connects with a body shot that sends Ward's belly button to the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tuckey throws out a powerful jab. Nice shot by Tuckey. Tuckey lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuckey scores with a jab to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Tuckey. Ward does a little dance to reset his feet. Tuckey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ward stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ward throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tuckey. Tuckey takes the fight into the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tuckey creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Wilson Tuckey dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ward shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tuckey but Tuckey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ward throws a series of punches but Tuckey moves out of range. Tuckey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ward on the wrong end of a nice jab. Good exchange - Tuckey coming out on top. Ward misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tuckey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ward stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Tuckey lands a lovely overhand right. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ward takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Tuckey has Ward up against the cage in a clinch.
Tuckey swings wildly with an uppercut but Ward uses good head movement to avoid it. Ward is breathing heavily. Tuckey lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ward backwards. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tuckey. Tuckey lands a body shot in the clinch.

Tuckey creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ward's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ward drops to his knees and Tuckey pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
