Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Izaki Renji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denis Sandy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denis Sandy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Izaki Renji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denis Sandy! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Renji shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Sandy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Renji! Renji looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Renji keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sandy controlling the pace for now. Sandy swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Renji is now in Sandy's guard. A big mistake from Sandy there, giving up the dominant position! Sandy wants to sweep here but Renji controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Izaki Renji just wasn't active enough. Sandy throws the left hand but Renji avoids the punch easily. Sandy tries to land a front kick but Renji steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sandy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Renji's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandy looking to pass the guard. Renji is working an open guard so Sandy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Renji doesn't succeed with the takedown so Sandy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sandy controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Sandy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Renji's guard. Renji might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sandy tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Renji. Sandy tries to pass to full mount but Renji defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sandy in particular looking to stall.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Denis Sandy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Sandy throws a series of punches but Renji avoids them all with ease. Renji avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sandy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Renji sprawls well initially but Sandy persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Renji is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Still in half guard, Sandy seems content to control. Sandy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Renji trying to control here.
Renji won't allow Sandy to pass to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sandy controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Denis Sandy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sandy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Renji to the mat! Renji manages to get full guard. Renji trying to keep a closed guard but Sandy is proving a slippery customer.
Sandy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Renji avoids the head kick by Sandy.
A head kick misses from Sandy. Sandy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Sandy shoots in and bounces Renji off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Renji has a closed guard, preventing Sandy from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandy pushing down on Renji's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sandy moves into full mount! Renji won't be happy about that! Renji is in all sorts of trouble here.
Renji defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sandy. Sandy working the ground and pound effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sandy controlling from mount. Renji is controlling an arm, preventing Sandy from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Renji tries to reverse the position but Sandy maintains control. Sandy landing shots from mount. Renji takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Sandy with good strikes from the mount here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandy has hold of Renji's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Renji manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Sandy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Let's hope that Sandy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The referee warns Renji that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sandy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Renji looks a forlorn figure.
Sandy controlling from the full mount. Sandy landing punches. Sandy controlling from mount. Sandy scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Renji?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Denis Sandy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Renji looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sandy dives in and scores a takedown into Renji's guard. Sandy tries to free his leg and advance position but Renji is retaining full guard. Sandy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Sandy advances to half guard. Sandy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Renji on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sandy passes the guard and advances to mount! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sandy controlling his opponent. BOOM! Sandy connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sandy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Renji's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sandy is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Renji can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Sandy breaks from Renji's wrist control and lands an elbow. Sandy is in the full mount, landing strikes. Sandy looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Sandy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Sandy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sandy working Renji over with strikes here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sandy content just to control the position here. Sandy gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Sandy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Renji paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sandy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Renji is trying to defend but Sandy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sandy decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Denis Sandy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sandy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
