Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Simmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cory Simmons has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zacharius Pendragon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cory Simmons!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pendragon finds it's way round the side to connect with Simmons's head.
Simmons wants to clinch up but Pendragon keeps it at a distance.
Pendragon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Simmons's waist but Simmons gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pendragon off to one side.
Pendragon tries to clinch but Simmons is having none of it.
Simmons tries to clinch but Pendragon moves away
and Pendragon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Simmons tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Simmons using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Pendragon is breathing heavily.
Simmons leaning his opponent against the cage.
Simmons drags the fight down to the ground.
Pendragon wants to stand but Simmons has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Simmons trying to control the position.
Pendragon won't allow Simmons to get back to his feet.
Pendragon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Simmons on the ground.
Pendragon has gone for a leg lock! Simmons slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pendragon's guard.
Simmons stands and steps away. Pendragon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Simmons dodges the punch combination from Pendragon.
Simmons throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pendragon tries to clinch but Simmons moves away
and Simmons counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Pendragon! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Simmons!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Simmons!
