The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manningham misses the shot to the body.
Manningham throws a shot from downtown. Potter moves away and avoids it.
Potter tests Manningham's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Manningham misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Manningham ducks under a wild hook from Potter.
Potter lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Manningham at a distance.
A slow jab from Manningham misses its intended target.
Manningham fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Potter manages to avoid it.
Potter connects with a crisp jab.
Manningham takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potter swats away the attempt to clinch by Manningham.
Manningham wants to clinch
and Potter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Manningham misses with a wild body shot.
Potter tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A leg kick checked by Potter.

Manningham lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Potter at a distance.
Potter wants to clinch.
Potter defending well as Manningham loads up on a big left hand.
Manningham takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Potter cracks Manningham with a good jab.

Manningham closes the distance and pushes Potter back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Potter throws a head punch that misses.
Manningham tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Potter avoids it.
With the fighters up against the cage, Manningham throws an elbow but misses.

Potter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jab, jab by Potter - just one landing.

Potter forces Manningham back against the cage and clinches.
Potter can't find room to land a body shot as Manningham controls the action.
Potter makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Potter misses with some punches.
Still in the clinch, Potter scores with a nice short uppercut.
Manningham tries to stall but Potter uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Manningham putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Potter in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Manningham blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Manningham breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Potter has closed the distance and engaged Manningham in a clinch.
Potter lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Manningham backwards.
Manningham changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Potter fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Manningham throws a leg kick but Potter sees it coming and moves out of range.

Potter moves away from the strike by Manningham.
Potter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Manningham tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Manningham misses with a body shot.

and Potter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Potter cracks Manningham on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Manningham falls backwards against the cage. Potter follows up with more strikes that drop Manningham to his knees. Potter keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Manningham! This one is all over!
