Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richard Nilsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algenir Mira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nilsson comes to the cage accompanied by Miami - Kill That Roach. Algenir Mira is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nilsson has his takedown stuffed
and Mira counters with a nice body shot.
Mira lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Richard Nilsson has been cut.
Mira connects with a crisp jab.
Nilsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Mira tries to sprawl out of it but Nilsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nilsson throws a series of punches but Mira avoids them all with ease.
Mira thuds a left hand into Nilsson's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nilsson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mira defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Nilsson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mira scores with a head kick. Nilsson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Nilsson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nilsson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Mira connects with a right hand. Nilsson shakes it off.
Nilsson is rocked!
Nilsson walks straight into a right hand from Mira - that's dropped him! Mira jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nilsson from any more punishment! Nilsson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Algenir Mira!
