Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Delmar Descheck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Hensball! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hensball throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Descheck tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hensball is in Descheck's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hensball chips away with some ground and pound. Hensball throwing strikes but missing. Hensball wants to control from the top but Descheck keeps moving. Hensball drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hensball seems to have locked his on tight now - Descheck screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hensball, as he picks up the win!
