Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Naoki Mitsuoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Kowls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mitsuoka might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "'Till I Collapse" By Eminem. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naoki Mitsuoka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dante Kowls! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kowls moves into the clinch successfully.
Kowls goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mitsuoka prevents it.
Mitsuoka has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kowls uses from the top position. Mitsuoka wants to stand and escape but Kowls is having none of it. Kowls's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kowls throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mitsuoka throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mitsuoka being controlled here, momentarily. Mitsuoka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kowls is controlling him. Kowls stands up from Mitsuoka's guard - Kowls perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowls misses with the combination.
Mitsuoka wants to clinch and Kowls counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mitsuoka! Mitsuoka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kowls on the ground. Kowls with good strikes from the mount here! Mitsuoka wants to control but Kowls is having none of it. Kowls content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Dante Kowls wasn't active enough on the ground. Mitsuoka looks to clinch and Kowls counters with a single leg into guard. Mitsuoka didn't expect that. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mitsuoka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mitsuoka is looking to stand back up but Kowls counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mitsuoka. Kowls looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitsuoka wants to control but Kowls passes into side.
Kowls stands up. Mitsuoka darts in trying to clinch and Kowls holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mitsuoka wants to get back to striking at distance but Kowls won't allow it.
Kowls gets underhooks to prevent Mitsuoka's takedown attempt.
Kowls tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Naoki Mitsuoka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Kowls. Mitsuoka drags the fight down to the ground.
Mitsuoka can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kowls controls the pace. Kowls prevents Mitsuoka from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kowls controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Kowls has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dante Kowls hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mitsuoka tries to bum rush Kowls with a series of wild strikes but Kowls uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mitsuoka misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dante Kowls dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mitsuoka fails to land with a series of punches.
Mitsuoka misses with a takedown attempt and Kowls counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kowls prevents Mitsuoka from getting back to his feet. Kowls sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mitsuoka's guard. Mitsuoka tries to kick Kowls off but Kowls keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kowls works his way into full mount! Mitsuoka tries to hold on but Kowls pushes him away. Mitsuoka is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kowls locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mitsuoka is forced to tap!
