The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poniatowski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johanssen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they both work up against the meshing.
Poniatowski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johanssen keeps working.
