Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Heymen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Butcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Heymen! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heymen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Heymen gets caught flat footed, as Butcher shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Butcher with a flurry of punches that miss. Heymen working for a triangle but Butcher defends it easily.
Butcher wants to control from the top but Heymen keeps moving. Heymen is looking for a triangle but Butcher pushes his legs off easily.
Butcher not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Butcher stands and throws Heymen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Butcher tries for a kimura but Heymen is defending well. Heymen manages to get back to half guard. Heymen regains full guard. Nicely done. Heymen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Heymen wants to stand but Butcher is controlling the position. Heymen looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Heymen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Butcher trying to control but Heymen is working from the bottom. Butcher preventing the sweep. Butcher trying to control the position from guard on top but Heymen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Butcher drops back looking for a leg! Heymen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Heymen manages to kick Butcher off! Butcher jumps back into Heymen's guard. Heymen looking for a guillotine here but Butcher defends easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Butcher stands and throws Heymen's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. You can see the frustration on Heymen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Heymen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Butcher kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Butcher working the head with strikes. Heymen manages to work his way to half guard, despite Butcher's best efforts. Heymen works his way to full guard. Good work. Heymen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Butcher's guard. Heymen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Butcher works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Heymen stopping the sweep attempt from Butcher. Butcher looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Butcher has his foot on Heymen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Heymen works his way back into a safe position though. Heymen trying to control but Butcher is working from the bottom. Butcher wants to sweep here but Heymen controlling him for the moment. Butcher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Heymen on the ground. Heymen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Butcher fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butcher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heymen tries to avoid it but Butcher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heymen to the ground. Heymen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Horrible takedown by Butcher or perhaps it was just good defense by Heymen which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Butcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Heymen has his takedown stuffed and Butcher counters with a single leg into guard. Heymen didn't expect that. Heymen controls Butcher momentarily but Butcher frees himself. Heymen looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Butcher is defending well. Heymen quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Butcher has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Heymen celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
