Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mateus Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugo Rossi!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rossi.
Rossi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Allen counters with a takedown into side control.
Rossi is not content to let Allen control the position.
You can see the frustration on Rossi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Allen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rossi to his feet.
Rossi throws a body punch but Allen moves out of range.
Allen gets the takedown into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rossi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Allen grinds an elbow into Rossi's temple.
Rossi tries to control but Allen manages to take his back.
Rossi tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Allen avoids the attempt from Rossi to control.
Allen lands with some strikes.
Allen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rossi is in all sorts of trouble here.
Rossi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rossi prevents Allen from getting back to his feet.

Rossi trying to control the position from guard on top but Allen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Allen wants to stand and escape but Rossi is having none of it.
Rossi is pushing down on Allen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Allen is fighting to maintain full guard but Rossi has managed to sneak the leg through.
Allen is trying to stand up here but Rossi is controlling him well.
Allen kicks off Rossi and gets to his feet.
Allen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rossi circles away quickly and effectively.
Rossi just misses with a punch to the body.
Allen scores a takedown into full mount!

Rossi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Allen lands with some strikes.
Allen punishing his opponent with strikes.
Rossi tries to hold on but Allen pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Allen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Allen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rossi on the ground.

Allen lands a big elbow.
Rossi tries to lock up and control but Allen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rossi regains half guard.
Allen is controlling the pace.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rossi is looking for a sweep. Allen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mateus Allen dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rossi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Allen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Allen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rossi to the ground. Allen is now in Rossi's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rossi is on top in guard.
Rossi passes into half guard.
Rossi wants to take a breather but Allen is having none of it.
Allen preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Rossi is looking to take a break and control but Allen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Allen pushes Rossi off looking to stand but Rossi dives back in and keeps control.
Rossi trying to work for an americana but Allen has managed to regain full guard.

Allen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Allen slips a nice elbow through Rossi's hands, connecting with Rossi's forehead.
Allen is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Allen stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Rossi to get to his feet.
Allen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rossi is trying to defend but Allen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Rossi slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Allen chips away with some ground and pound.
Allen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Rossi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Allen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Allen decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fighters circling - Rossi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rossi looks to throw the jab but Allen is out of range.
Rossi has a takedown stuffed.
Allen looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Allen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Allen scoring with punches to the head and body.
Allen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Allen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rossi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Allen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rossi pulls down on the head and he's put Allen to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Hugo Rossi!
