Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Desperado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tito Desperado!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Desperado shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Desperado blocks a jab.
A jab from Taylor misses.
Taylor leaves Desperado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Paul Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Taylor lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Desperado at a distance.
Desperado fails to land with a series of punches.
Desperado misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Paul Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tito Desperado.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Desperado is defended easily by Taylor.

and Desperado counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Taylor's guard now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Desperado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Desperado accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Taylor wants to stand up but Desperado is controlling him.
Desperado pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Taylor is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Desperado manages to get himself to full guard.

Taylor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Desperado works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Desperado is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Taylor defends well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Taylor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Desperado has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though.

Desperado looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Taylor is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Desperado is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Desperado looks gassed!

Taylor working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Desperado's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Desperado escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Tito Desperado will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Desperado uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Taylor.
Taylor throws an overhand right that lands on Desperado's shoulder, as Desperado tries to avoid the shot.
Taylor drives through with a takedown into Desperado's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Desperado pushes a forearm under Taylor's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Taylor is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
