The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karalahti fails with a takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Karalahti is defended easily by Lee.
Karalahti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jere Karalahti. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Karalahti.
A combination from Lee does no damage.
Karalahti closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Karalahti pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Karalahti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
Karalahti blocks a head kick by Lee.

Lee throws a head kick but Karalahti moves out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Lee. No joy for Karalahti on that attempt.
Lee lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lee throws a right hand that Karalahti ducks under and follows up with a left that Karalahti also avoids with ease.
Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Karalahti shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A head kick misses from Lee.

Lee stuffs the takedown attempt from Karalahti. Karalahti gets slowly back to his feet.
Karalahti has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Karalahti is breathing heavily.
Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karalahti shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Lee throws a series of punches but Karalahti avoids them all with ease.
Lee lands with a slapping head kick.
Lee looks to land a combination but Karalahti avoids it well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karalahti.
Karalahti shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.
Lee clobbers Karalahti with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Karalahti is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Karalahti closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.
Lee scores with a push kick.
A punch lands to the side of Karalahti 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karalahti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karalahti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Karalahti off to one side.
Lee goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Karalahti takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Lee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Karalahti has a takedown stuffed.
Lee lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lee throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Karalahti's head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Karalahti. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Karalahti bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lee is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Lee can't do much from the bottom here.
Karalahti has hold of Lee's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lee seems comfortable defending it but Karalahti has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lee is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lee is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Karalahti couldn't care less - he's delighted!
