The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran avoids the body shot from Anderson.
Duran avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice uppercut lands for Duran. That snapped Anderson's head back.

It looks like Calvin Duran has been cut.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown but Duran manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Anderson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Anderson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Duran - the referee stops the clock and Anderson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Duran. Anderson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Duran bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Anderson's head backwards.
Anderson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Duran slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Anderson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Calvin Duran is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Anderson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Duran finds it's way round the side to connect with Anderson's head.
Greg Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
