Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Al Astra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sevyn Lorin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sevyn Lorin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lorin is working for takedown but Astra is calmly controlling the position for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Astra closes the distance but Lorin moves to the side
and Lorin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lorin.

Astra is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lorin has his hands clasped together but Astra extends an breaks Lorin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Astra.
