The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romanenko doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Miller cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Miller counters with a three punch combo that has Romanenko backing up. Romanenko nods at Miller to acknowledge the strikes.
Miller misses with a few strikes there.
Miller tries to bum rush Romanenko with a series of wild strikes but Romanenko uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Miller seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Romanenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Miller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Miller wants to take a breather but Romanenko is having none of it.
Miller is just content to waste time from the top position. Romanenko takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Romanenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Romanenko working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tim Miller comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Miller has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
