Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Slewton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bert Bainite!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slewton bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
A shot to the liver by Slewton. Beautiful body shot.
A slapping leg kick lands for Slewton.
Bainite closes the distance and clinches up with Slewton, looking for a takedown. Bainite pushes Slewton against the cage but Slewton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Slewton lands with a shot to the body.
Slewton is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bainite's half guard.

Slewton working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Bainite has hold of Slewton's hands but Slewton slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Slewton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Slewton is looking to take a break and control but Bainite is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Slewton is looking to pass Bainite's guard but actually Bainite recovers to full guard.
Slewton postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Slewton working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bainite's head.
Slewton wants to pass the guard but Bainite is keeping the position.

Slewton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bainite's head.
Slewton stands up over Bainite, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bainite is rocked!
Slewton is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Bainite is still in real trouble! Can Slewton finish him?

Slewton pushes down on Bainite's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Slewton scores with a big shot! Bainite's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bainite! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
