Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dj Stenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Bailey Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stenner comes to the cage accompanied by Escapado - Solange Du Weisst. Dj Stenner had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dj Stenner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Desmond Bailey Jr!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenner throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bailey Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stenner is in Bailey Jr's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Stenner trying to control the position from guard on top but Bailey Jr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bailey Jr is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stenner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bailey Jr swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bailey Jr pulls Stenner in close to his closed guard and prevents Stenner from doing any damage or advancing position.

Stenner missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Stenner won't allow Bailey Jr to sweep him here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bailey Jr is on top in guard.
Bailey Jr lands a couple of decent looking shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bailey Jr throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stenner has his foot on Bailey Jr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bailey Jr works his way back into a safe position though.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bailey Jr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bailey Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Stenner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bailey Jr is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bailey Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Stenner scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stenner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stenner misses with a takedown attempt - Bailey Jr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bailey Jr throws a series of punches but Stenner avoids them all with ease.
Bailey Jr dives in and grabs Stenner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stenner pushes down on Bailey Jr's head and hops out.
Stenner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dj Stenner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bailey Jr lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stenner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bailey Jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stenner but Stenner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stenner throws a combination. Bailey Jr tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bailey Jr looks gassed!
Bailey Jr looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stenner lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Bailey Jr goes down and covers up as Stenner starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dj Stenner!
