Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sure Victory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Pickerins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pickerins's choice of entrance music: way of the fist. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickerins walks into a left hand.
Victory tries to bum rush Pickerins with a series of wild strikes but Pickerins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Victory pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Pickerins back to the cage. Victory follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Victory throws a series of punches but Pickerins moves out of range.
Victory fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Victory rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pickerins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice defenses there by Pickerins.
Pickerins throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Victory stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Victory misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Victory misses with a wild body shot.
Victory misses with a double jab.

Pickerins swings for the body but Victory moves out of range.
Pickerins drops his hands momentarily and Victory takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Victory throws a series of punches but Pickerins avoids them all with ease.
Victory is breathing heavily.
Victory blocks the body kick.
Pickerins throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Sure Victory has been cut.
Victory misses with a looping left.
Victory throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pickerins counters with a nice right hand that sends Victory toppling to the canvas! Victory scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pickerins finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pickerins scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pickerins connects with a leg kick. Victory looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pickerins throws a lazy right hand but Victory sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pickerins scores with a hook to the body. Victory takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pickerins circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Victory tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Pickerins wins by KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bob Pickerins!
