Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between El Raton Vaquero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saddam Hussain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hussain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dabke Huwara. Saddam Hussain has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaquero wants to clinch up but Hussain keeps it at a distance.
Hussain wants to land a leg kick but Vaquero is out of range.
Hussain swings for the body but Vaquero moves out of range.
Hussain swats away the attempt to clinch by Vaquero.
Vaquero checks the leg kick nicely there.
Hussain misses with an attempted mid kick.
Vaquero on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hussain connects with a body shot.
Hussain throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Hussain takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hussain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hussain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Hussain ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vaquero moves away.

Hussain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vaquero circles away quickly and effectively.

Hussain lands with a right hand.
Hussain misses the shot to the body.

Vaquero pushes Hussain up against the ropes in a clinch.

Hussain prevents the takedown attempt.
Vaquero drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Vaquero gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hussain regains guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Hussain wants to sweep here but Vaquero controlling him for the moment.
Hussain has his hands on Vaquero's head, controlling the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Saddam Hussain.
Vaquero drops his hands momentarily and Hussain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Hussain misses with a hook.
A big right from Hussain misses.
Saddam Hussain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hussain works the jab nicely.

Vaquero clinches up with Hussain and pushes him back against the ropes.
Hussain's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Vaquero jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hussain walks away with a smile on his face. Vaquero gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hussain thumps Vaquero with a low kick.
Hussain connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Vaquero bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vaquero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hussain.
Hussain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vaquero.
Nice shot lands for Hussain.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hussain connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hussain circles away from the clinch attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hussain dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vaquero. That did some damage!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vaquero crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hussain - the referee stops the clock and Vaquero gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hussain. Vaquero manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hussain works Vaquero's body with a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hussain jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hussain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vaquero was well out of range. Poor timing from Hussain.
Saddam Hussain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaquero shoots in looking for a takedown. Hussain tries to sprawl out of it but Vaquero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Hussain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hussain misses with an uppercut. Vaquero saw that one coming.
Vaquero moves out of range of the body kick.
Vaquero doesn't manage to clinch there - Hussain circles away.
That kick from Hussain tenderised Vaquero's leg. Vaquero is trying to keep his angry face on.
Vaquero displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hussain throws out the jab.

Hussain connects with a leg kick. Vaquero looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Hussain throws an overhand right that lands on Vaquero's shoulder, as Vaquero tries to avoid the shot.
Vaquero slips a jab from Hussain.
Vaquero has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Vaquero there as he acknowledges the shot.

Vaquero is rocked!
Hussain throws a looping overhand right but Vaquero ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Vaquero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hussain connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Vaquero covering up! Hussain comes in with a big uppercut and Vaquero goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Saddam Hussain!
