Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Renato Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Thai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Thai.
Thai moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Thai throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Thai lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kawajiri misses with a takedown
and Thai counters with a body kick that stops Kawajiri in his tracks momentarily.
Kawajiri shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thai makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Kawajiri is breathing heavily.

Mike Thai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Thai throws a leg kick which misses Kawajiri's front leg but catches the back leg as Kawajiri tries to avoid it.

Kawajiri on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Thai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Oh Kawajiri is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kawajiri seems to have got his legs back now.

Kawajiri stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Thai.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kawajiri. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Kawajiri walks forward, straight into a front kick from Thai.

Thai lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kawajiri sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

A slapping leg kick lands for Thai.
Thai throws a front kick that sends Kawajiri stumbling back into the cage.
Thai throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kawajiri's head.
Renato Kawajiri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thai lands a head kick. Kawajiri smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Thai throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Thai lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Thai lands a big head kick that sends Kawajiri tumbling to the mat! Thai takes a step backwards and waves Kawajiri back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Thai lands a brutal head kick. Kawajiri looks out on his feet and Thai throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
