Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Watt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelson has chosen Black Flood Diesel - Lost Cause as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, James Watt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Brad Nelson! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Watt leaves Nelson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Nelson shoots in but no luck this time. Watt throws a lazy uppercut
and Nelson counters with a left to the body. Nelson blocks a jab. Nelson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Watt is fending him off so far but Nelson persists. Nope, Watt circles away and we're back to standing. James Watt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Nelson. Watt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Watt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nelson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nelson fails to land the takedown. Nelson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Watt swivels and escapes. Nelson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nelson looks gassed! Watt looks to land a left hand but Nelson moved out of range nicely. Nelson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Watt to the ground. Nelson is now in Watt's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Watt wants to stand but Nelson is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Watt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Watt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Nelson content to stall in guard here. Watt wants to stand and escape but Nelson is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Brad Nelson. Watt looks to land a right hand but Nelson moved out of range. Nelson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Watt swivels and escapes. A jab from Watt misses. Watt missing with a left hand there. Nelson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nelson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Watt is trying to stand.
Well, if Nelson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Nelson looks to land a strike but Watt avoids it nicely and regains full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Nelson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Nelson defending well as Watt loads up on a big left hand. Nelson staying out of range there. Watt looks to throw the jab but Nelson is out of range. A slow jab from Watt misses its intended target. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nelson. Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Watt. Nelson misses with a hook. Watt ducked under it nicely. Watt pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nelson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Watt missing with a left hand there. Nelson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nelson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Watt as he avoids it easily. James Watt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Nelson. Nelson shoots for a double leg takedown but Watt sprawls well. He's pushed Nelson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nelson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Watt. Nelson defending well as Watt loads up on a big left hand. Watt is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Watt throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Nelson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Nelson gets a takedown into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nelson content to control rather than advance. Brad Nelson has got the better of the ground game so far. Watt is trying to stand up here but Nelson is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brad Nelson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Nelson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Watt won't be happy with that. Watt is trying to buck Nelson off. Watt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nelson advances nicely into full mount. Nelson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Watt has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nelson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Watt is on top in guard.
Watt would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nelson holds on and takes a little breather. Nelson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Watt can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nelson controls Watt momentarily but Watt frees himself. Nelson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Watt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Watt wants to stand but Nelson is controlling his posture from full guard. Nelson looking for a sweep. Not yet Nelson, not yet. Watt trying to control but Nelson is working from the bottom. Nelson controlling Watt's posture. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Watt just misses with a punch to the body.
Watt swings widly with a right hand
and Nelson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Watt misses with an uppercut
and Nelson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Watt's guard now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson trying to control but Watt is working from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nelson looking to pass the guard. Nelson trying to control the position from guard on top but Watt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brad Nelson was stalling too much, according to the referee. Watt throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nelson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Watt. James Watt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nelson shoots in looking for a takedown. Watt tries to sprawl out of it but Nelson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Watt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. James Watt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Nelson slips a straight right by Watt. Brad Nelson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Watt. Watt misses with a right hand and Nelson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Nelson wants to advance to full mount but Watt doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Nelson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nelson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Brad Nelson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Nelson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
