Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between For Lulz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has chosen Comfortably Numb as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Hunt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lulz's head.
Hunt throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Lulz counters with a head kick.
Hunt swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hunt just misses with a punch to the body.
Hunt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lulz manages to avoid it.

Lulz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lulz just content to control the position.
Hunt is not content to let Lulz control the position.

Hunt is trying to improve his position.
Lulz is looking to take a break and control but Hunt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lulz is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lulz has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

That was a close round but I would say that For Lulz will probably get the nod.

Hunt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lulz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hunt is in Lulz's guard.

Hunt can't control as he wanted to and Lulz manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Lulz tries to hold on but Hunt postures up.
