Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Toby McCullough!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCullough misses with a hook.
McCullough connects with a nice looking jab.
McCullough lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
McCullough ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bowron moves away.
Bowron has his takedown stuffed

and McCullough counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McCullough.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Bowron has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McCullough can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bowron has his foot on McCullough's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McCullough works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
McCullough wants to control from the top but Bowron keeps moving.
Bowron avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
McCullough works over Bowron with some ground and pound from guard.
McCullough won't allow Bowron to get back to his feet.
McCullough really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bowron. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McCullough is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Bowron is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells McCullough's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCullough throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bowron works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Bowron pushes a forearm under McCullough's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, McCullough is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ryan Bowron!
