Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad O Brien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsey Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramsey Wood will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Brad O Brien! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ramsey Wood! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood shoots for a double leg takedown but O Brien sprawls well. He's pushed Wood's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. O Brien fails with a takedown attempt from distance. O Brien shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wood pinned against the cage. Wood gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. O Brien throws a series of punches but Wood moves out of range. Ramsey Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. O Brien leaves Wood with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brad O Brien has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramsey Wood. A momentary lapse in concentration from O Brien enables Wood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. O Brien manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. O Brien looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wood puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Wood works his foot free and advances to mount. O Brien tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wood trying to control but O Brien is having none of it. Wood scoring with strikes but O Brien is staying in there. Wood scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish O Brien?
O Brien is looking to get to half guard. O Brien might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. O Brien is squirming around, avoiding Wood's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Wood there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
O Brien is looking to improve his position but Wood isn't that keen on the idea. Wood trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wood throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wood sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. O Brien can't escape the position.
Wood looking to control but O Brien is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Wood wants to finish this one by submission but O Brien is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wood.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wood jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but O Brien manages to avoid the submission attempt. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. O Brien is looking for a sweep. O Brien gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Wood prevents O Brien from improving his position. Wood controlling the action here. Wood is looking for a kimura but O Brien is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wood to get the leverage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wood missing with the ground and pound from half guard. O Brien is staying active underneath Wood, who seems content to just control the action from this position. O Brien works his way to full guard. Good work. Wood trying to control the position from guard on top but O Brien is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Brien throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
O Brien wants to sweep but no luck. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wood tries to free his leg and advance position but O Brien is retaining full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Wood trying to control but O Brien is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ramsey Wood dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wood fails with the takedown. O Brien throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wood was covering up waiting for the punch and O Brien finishes the takedown easily into guard. O Brien throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wood works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wood wants to sweep here but O Brien controlling him for the moment. Ramsey Wood has got the better of the ground game so far. Wood looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. O Brien working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. O Brien lands a couple of elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. O Brien with a nice head shot there. O Brien postures up in Wood's guard and throws a big left but Wood blocks it. Wood is trying to control the position but O Brien postures up. O Brien throws a strike but Wood rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. O Brien lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wood! Wood wants to hold on but O Brien pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Brien won't let Wood get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. O Brien thowing shots but they're missing. O Brien looking to finish with strikes here!
